Why would they? Because, as RA said, "Labor Risk has been taken off the table."
If he wants to keep it that way, he's going to have to come up with a whole lot more Money, and a whole lot less concessions, or that JD Power award is going to go bye bye, right along with our 99.9% completion rate. Right? Am I getting this right? He's happy. They're all happy. They've all got to be really happy about TA2015 going down in flames, eh? We should be their heroes... unless, they really needed the concessions. Which means they had a lot of value. And if that is the case, the NC should have light poled it a while ago and told us sorry, but we can't get you an early deal. |

He should be ecstatic TA2015 failed. It saved the company a billion dollars over three years. I mean after this contract was signed they would've had no more money!

After the TA failed, they are telling us the company is better off without the deal. (As in, we should have taken that great deal and all that money.) Which one is it? :D |
Why would any airline ever come to their pilot group early and offer raises when all it does is increase costs? Because it wont increase their costs. There is gold hidden in one or all of the concessions in TA15. The company knows where it is and our union either doesn't or pretends not to know.
Some would say they want labor peace, I say that's bs because if that was true they would be back at the table trying to accomplish labor peace. I think they will be back at the table to get at the buried treasure that lies in one or more of the concessions they want. |

Ironically, labor peace is now the company's "fleeting opportunity." The opportunity to retain a portion of the pilot group's goodwill is rapidly fleeting. The new MC chairman must leverage that concept. |
