No one can guarantee any certain result but we should at least have a union that will fight hard on our behalf.

The fact that some guys seem to think our only option is to take whatever management offers really boggles my mind.

Yes, especially when the company is making historic profits every quarter, and using it to buy back stock! Last quarter, that's 90 days, Delta made nearly double what they made in the whole year of 2001, when we signed C2K, yet we are still being asked to give concessions to fund 3% pay raises.

I have seen Malone in action before and I do not believe this time is going to be any different I'm very sorry to say he is not the answer. Alpa must go!

Is the term "modification" synonymous with concession? I would like "modifications" to multiple sections of the contract that strengthen our PWA.

I'm afraid that if I answer yes to any "modification" questions it will be seen as willingness for concessions. For example I would be agreeable to modifications to JV that puts 75% of flying in the hands of Delta pilots. I am not agreeable to a modification that sacrifices one seat, one mile or one pound of cargo under a JV.

Agreed. That is why I had to answer no to all of the phone polling questions that used that word. And I said I would strike for all of them. ALPA is either prepping us for round two of concessions, or has been proactive for so long they forgot how to build a survey.

The new admin is using the same third party survey guy the appeasers used.

That's a problem. It's easy to write a survey to get the answers you want (or you think your client wants).

What are you talking about? I had to log in with both my ALPA number and my password.

On the slanting of the questions, I spent a lot of time explaining my answers in the comments boxes after many of the questions. My bottom line was NO MORE CONCESSIONS and RESTORE US TO PRE-BANKRUPTCY PAY/RETIEMENT BENEFITS!

The company just made $2 Billion in the past 90 days, which is TWICE the 3 year combined vale of the failed TA.

The time for restoration is NOW!

I'm glad you had the roll eyes on the value of the failed TA.
