True, but its Delta tradition to pee away gobs of money before realizing what they should have done to begin with.

iPads are not compatible with the 1982 era Okidata printers at the gates.
Sheesh, for a smart guy, you sounded pretty dumb there!

You can expect to receive Bulletins and Memos; lots of Bulletins and Memos. If you can't sign back in while turning to intercept final while simultaneously holding down the power and volume down button to reset the Surface then YOUR PROBLEM is just operator error.

The Surface is a lot like the MD88 that way. Nothing in the build* that can't be fixed via a bulletin.

REVISION "*" : Wrote "design" but there is no indication the MD88 was designed. It seems to have been assembled from whatever parts were left over from previous efforts with DC-9's and DC-10's.

I'm curious to why people are comparing the newest ipads to the oldest or least capable Surfaces? If Delta goes with the oldest, cheapest, and least capable Surfaces, why would you think they wouldn't get the oldest, cheapest, and least capable ipads they could get?

How does this sound... ipad 2 isn't that powerful, the Surface 4 pro is so much better.

Timmy Cook didn't save Delta 15000 of his antiquated iPad2s.
Billy Gates did save 15000 of his antiquated Surface 3s for us.

For anyone who cares, the iPad air 2 won the trials at Endeavor vs the Surface 3, which failed due to freezing issues.

Now that's comedy.

This sounds like a new LOE sim profile. I bet the cockpit isn't that sterile during this. Procedures in QRH or content locker?
