With all the non-NYC options, it makes much more sense, but the plug and the plug-1 both got the ER! WOW!

I'm ATL based and having done both as well I would agree. There's minimal advantage in seniority on the ATLM88 compared to ATL717. Yes, the 717 is so much a better FO job it's worth a little loss in seniority, IMHO. In a year you might even have better seniority on the 717. But I respect others have a different perspective. Congrats to all the new Delta pilots who came on to the seniority list today!

Probably a generalization of 717 rotations, but IMHO the 5-leg days and "Tour of the 'Villes" layovers, plus less $$ per hour, are what keep me on the 88. Seniority in ATL is 7-8% "worse" on the 88 than 717 right now at the 3 year point.

The 88 does lots of "villes, boros and burgs. I happen to like them. Smaller airports and mostly college towns or the Capital, which usually allows you to get beer and food late into the night
