Yes our proposed rates were similar but at what cost to the rest of the contract?

No airline out there did anything without concessions. If you're holding out for zero concessions, you're totally outside the envelope of what the industry is doing.

So since there ARE gains and concessions, I think you have to know a lot about costing at each airline to evaluate the values of the respective TA's.

Glancing at the highlights at SWA, I can't really figure out exactly what they did to their Section1. They say it's better, but don't we all?

you mean the one you voted yes on and sung it's praises?

So you think we will be limited by Southwest? Delta no longer wants us to lead the industry?

I'm not being sarcastic, but I am curious how you figure the NMB is ignoring PS.

I don't think that is exactly true either. You'd have to deuct the value of the matching they were getting, which I ***think*** was 9.3%, so in 3 years they get 5.7% total.

How much is their PS, anyway?

Yes....it is 100% true. I have several friends who fly for SWA

If you read anything on these boards you know that what I have bolded above is 100% untrue and pretty much flame-bait. Nice job.

"No seat on SWA board"... Bummer

It absolutely is not flame-bait in any shape or form. Every airline out there has made concessions. I can't figure out from a cursory glance of the AIP's exactly what concessions SWA made, and neither can you, but every airline out there made concessions. Every one.

What I put up is a statement of fact. Expecting zero concessions is outside the envelope of all recent contracts. I have been reading these boards, and every pilot group highlights their concessions better than you or I can. All of them have concessions to talk about.

I suggest you re-read my post.

Okay you win. I'll take their scope and 16/3/3/3. Oh, and their vacation too. And their FAs max duty day of 10.5 hours.
