It's so nice to be remembered.
Ummm, no. Not upset. The sentiment is much closer to resignation than outrage. Ennui, with a soupçon of butthurt for the 40 grand in retro that just got whizzed away.
I hope we can fly a trip together. You can tell me all about how wrong I am, and how doing it your way will result in a deal that captures losses from compounding, pays the highest rates in the land, and contains nothing that remotely favors management.
There were two sides to last year's vote, and each side offered predictions for the aftermath of a rejection. Who has filled your ears with promises, and who has been absolutely correct while making no allowance for your emotions?
This is going to take years, and we will be lucky to average three percent annually. Embrace the suck.

How about going on the record before the notepad comes out today where you think the unreasonable and clueless 12 set direction?
21/6/6?
18% DC?
Vacation?
Man up Mantooth.

Some unity could go a long way. For example, it would be nice if all the check airmen showed up at the next meeting wearing orange lanyards. Instead, they give disgusted looks at the pilots wearing the lanyards. They are on our side, right? Taking SD off dues status probably was the right move. He is against us, right? He sure as hell isn't on our side.

Tell us about their unreasonable positions in advance of the notepad.
Unless you mean nothing that you say.

[QUOTE=JamesBond;2199858]I don't even know who the 12 are, Stephen Hawking. Nor do I care. I want my MEC to get us a good deal. You want them to fail so you can install the Toxic Rangers and ensure years of mediocrity.
So find one post where I have 'ripped on the 12' I'll wait.[/QUOT
I apologize. I get you guys confused.
Any other takers who said the 12 don't want a deal?
Time to back up your words.

Someone posted this a while ago. We all threaten to wear these and the negotiations would be concluded really quickly. Parked you say? Huh, ok you asked for it.

Yes, those who thought we would get quick deal after the TA Beat down were wrong. But their mistake was believing the company wanted a deal in the first place. It's clear that they don't want a deal, they want a capitulation. They want to cut their costs by dictating terms. Thank gawd we voted out the Chamberlain wing of DALPA for the Churchill wing.
