[QUOTE=ronnie75;2228724]I think everyone in their heart of hearts knows this deal is lacking. Ok stinks. I'm being honest, I seriously wanted to like this TA and vote yes. The money is ok. The sell outs are not. Billions and Billions. Industry average pay achieved. Can we please find some leadership to:
Here we go again, more FUD. Please show us the areas in the contract where the billions and billions of givebacks are located.
Once you do that then average the pay compared to SWA, AMR, UAL and AK on the major fleets and post the numbers. I won't even ask you to include JetBlue, Spirit, Alligient etc even though they are in the industry. Post your numbers. Please include DC plans. Let's see how average we are.

Clamp, honest question. I see the election mentioned a lot reference the contract. Why does the election result out have any effect on the consequences of ratifying/rejecting the TS?

I think he meant billions in profits, not givebacks, but didn't word it clearly. That's how I interpreted it when I read it.

remind senior management there was no limit to what they demanded from us when times were tough;
remind senior management times are no longer tough;
remind senior management of the value of what we voluntarily surrendered to help our company in its greatest time of need;
remind senior management of the additional forced sacrifices of bankruptcy;
remind senior management of the time value of our concessions;
remind senior management of our contributions to the expedited completion of a single operating certificate post-merger;
remind senior management of the misguided use of unprecedented profits on stock buybacks;
remind senior management of the professionalism, commitment to the schedule and safety record of the Delta pilots;
remind senior management of the paramount importance of maintaining a positive relationship with its pilots;
remind senior management that protracted negotiations serve no positive purpose and only force our hand to begin informational picketing and other lawful efforts to deliver our message; and, finally,
remind senior management it’s our turn now.”
I've been a sheep, I finally woke up, anyone else?

So if you are diagnosed with cancer and miss 130 hours over 5 months dealing with say a melanoma, you will not be able to verify any of it, right? Break 4 minor bones in a car accident? I think a rib is a minor bone. What if you crack 2 or 3 and cannot do your job for a few months?
I just don't get how this is a good swap for us over what we currently have.

When you go in for the ribs you cracked in the accident take two minutes and have the verification form filled out. Problem solved.

A rib bone is not a major bone. How would I get that verified? I believe that cracked ribs are an outpatient procedure?

[QUOTE=taylorswiftfan;2228842]I assumed per your post you had already used 130 hours per the cancer. If not then no need at all to verify the cracked ribs.
