Pay rates are only a small part of the picture. They were solid in most areas of their contract, and made it a little better with this TA.

+1.

80%+ is IMO a guarantee.

I'm guessing it might hit the 90s

I'm sure when AA comes up they'll top DL/UA.

You mean in 2019 (after their 5 year contract), when we're up for our next contract? They may get the rates up, but their work rules have a LONG way to go. Ask me how I know...and why I'm now at Delta.

So, just so I understand. I asked if they raised the bar, and you think that "funny". Sarcastically (I'm sure) you note how "high" the bar is and I assume it is because of our TA (which no doubtedly you dislike). Then you go on to say their contract is solid and this "made it a little better". So why then is ours so bad? We made ours a LOT better, yet you constantly bad mouth our efforts while patting them on the back for basically treading water.

Help a brother out.

How do you know. And why are you at Delta?

Well you said to ask.... :D

I doubt they ever get their work rules on par with the other 3 without taking a huge hit somewhere else. Kinda like how we had to settle on some things to go from a 9.3% match to a 15% B fund. Probably could've had pay better than the DL TA were it not for demanding a B fund and 100% retro for 4 yrs while holding the line on scope.

Your widebody pay looks nice but doesn't do many very much good if the farm is sold on scope. All the JV's and RJ's should be gone.

You think we can get rid of JVs? We could work for free and they wouldn't go away. You are delusional if you believe otherwise.

Did SWA hold the line on scope?
