Yet in the C44 update prior to the election all CK and JJ stated were give me your input while both SD and SM gave detailed analysis about who they planned to vote for. It's clear that the majority of 44 preferred JM and the FO reps ignored it for their own agenda

15% of ATL pilots voted against the TA. I would assume almost all of those pilots would be against Malone. But, that's just a guess.

Of the 85% that voted for the TA, how is it that you are so sure that the vast majority of them were for Malone. I heard a lot of lukewarm support for the TA, especially from mid level FO's -- even ATL FOs.

I've been pretty bad at judging sentiment lately. I'm just wondering how you can be so sure?

I guess we'll find out. :D

its likely the tie between reps and their constituency would be far more legitimate, and far better served with a seniority block model.

The MEC chairman is elected by reps. You don't get a vote on the MEC chairman. That's by design. You guys are too funny. Wuzthatforus isn't correct.

If you are right when you say "So goes 44, so goes the MEC," wouldn't tunes have every reason to not just worry about his council?

What am I incorrect about?

Has anybody stepped up to oppose RW yet? I haven't seen anything in writing.

The Council needs to be well represented now that the new regime is in power. Especially if they are attempting to make big changes to MEC policy as outlined in Captain Worrall's communique.

2 Moakie drones who have run before. O'Mahoney and Nestor. God help us.

Gszg/DPA and the old guard/Moakists are on extreme opposite sides of the labor relations spectrum. Although I'll go Moakist any day of the week over Fakenews gszg/DPA, both ends of the spectrum can and have proven to be damaging.

Moderate views like Captain Malone's and the C44 CA reps have proven to be successful multiple times in DALPA History.

You don't think this went on with DALPA in the past? The only difference is that the "Dirty Dozen" had the integrity to do it in public, knowing full well there would be blowback.

No, they didn't. they pulled their stunt in closed session.

I got a piece of advice from someone a few years ago. That piece was this...

The further you are from ATL, the better Delta is.

No truer words were ever spoken IMHO.
