NZQN/EGPH/WADD, depending on beer tastes......domestically you can't go wrong with SNA or MIA.

Domestically, downtown SFO is hands down the best. It has to be one of the best walking cities in the world; every few blocks and you are in a new neighborhood.
And the Saloon, is not only the oldest bar in the city, it is the best Blues dive bar in the country (once you get past the faint odor of urine on the sidewalk).

Key West is an excellent layover. One of the best in my opinion. The problem is, it has very limited airline service therefore not many experience the layover.

Anywhere warm enough to get outside and exercise. Places you can rent bikes is a plus.

Scottsdale is my favorite (except in the summer)

Love hiking camelback mountain, and as long as it's not summer, you know the weather will be perfect.

I climbed it and felt like Sir Edmund Hillary, until I reached the top and found kids, geezers, and mothers with babies already there.

I've had more than a reasonable amount of fun in SCE, BGM and CMX. Then again, I'm one of those young spiky hair types

2. Madison, Wisconsin. The hotel is right beside the capitol building. Plenty of food and bars within a short walk, and if you are ever there on a saturday morning, the farmers market just outside the hotel that wraps all the way around the capitol building is a must visit. Right in the middle of Badgertown, University of Wisconsin (like or hate, it is a fun place to be).
In Memphis be sure to check out Rendezvous BBQ. If you go west from the ballpark it is the next alley just pass Walgreens. Make a right and it's to your left about a hundred feet down the alley. Try the pork shoulder or the dry rub ribs.
