Also an incoming new hire here...
What’s the likelihood of getting ATL offered to the class? If 200 and 900 are on offer, what would be the better airplane to choose for ATL? It would seem as though the 900 is the better airplane with better flying, but the 200 might yield better relative seniority and more flying...

The only guarantee (and it's not a 100% guarantee depending on class seniority and the ever uncertainties of the future) seems to be New York. Also if you get the 200, you are waiting 18 months to get to MSP (seat locks and it's about 15 years to hold bottom captain in MSP) That said, the 200 is typically the junior plane, though again with the 18 month seat locks having started in January, that may become skewed. New hires have been able to get ATL and DTW at times (on the 200) and some had luck getting back to MSP pretty quick though I don't know how that will play out going forward with the loss of the 200 base there. Captain upgrade will require either a trip to New York for a while or a lengthy sit in the FO seat.

As of July bid, the junior ATL 200 FO is a March hire, and the line threshold is somewhere between December '17 and January '18 hires. The junior ATL 900 FO was hired in October 2017, and lineholders have at least a year of seniority.

Thanks. That helps. Hopefully ATL will be offered to my class, and others won't have a last four of social that starts with 9

I wouldn't count on it. Hope for ATL, and plan for NYC.

That's the better plan. The last final award only has NYC slots available for new hires.

Default NYC Routes for 900 and 200?

Is there a way to see the route maps for the 900 and 200 out of NYC?

It changes, we're subbing 900s for deuce routes all the time and once the CBus hits the line it'll change again.

I know being a smarta** excited you there, but you could have read his question first so you accurately answered it. No, there is not a route map that differentiates between the 2/9 flying
