If NYC is your base, it could be either or, probably 900 would be my guess since there are more.

It's been about 65/35 recently favoring 900 slightly. That said, a few months ago it was almost all 900 and a few months before that was heavily favoring 200. It changes often.
Seniority is last 4 of social with 9999 being most senior in a class. So higher your last 4 is greater chance you'll get your preference.

They vary. We have everything from 1 to 5 day trips. You have to be pretty senior to get 1 day trips. Same thing with 2 days there tends to not be very many. Most trips are 4 and 5 days. I don't know about atl. Someone else can chime in on that one.

The shorter the trip the more productive hence why they go senior (allows people to get 18 -19 days off). 1 day trips tend to credit 6-7 hours, 2 days 13 hours, 3 days 18, 4 days 20-23, 5 days 25-26 at least on the 900.

this info is published in the bid pack. 4 day trips rule everywhere but NYC has far more 5 day trips as a percent of total trips than any other base including Atl. Nyc also has more 3 day trips as a percent than ATL. 5 day trips are popular in NYC because they are fully commutable.

So what are the differences in the airplanes themselves... What is different on a 900 to a 200? Equipment? Comfort? Route length?
I will have to bid for equipment soon and I have no idea anything other than the reserve is likely longer for a 900. Help is appreciated.

900 has shorter reserve in nyc on fo side at this moment in time as as measured by the December awards. 200 pilots are mostly seatlocked so there will not be much movement on that airframe for the next 6-12 months, at which point most of those pilots will leave for the 900 or upgrade.
200 is the better option to get to DTW or ATL a bit sooner, and hold a line there. Almost a year and a half to a line in ATL 900 fo...
