Does mainline look at your application if you’re 1000 hours short of hiring minimums? Does being a regional lifer sound good?

If you attend enough job fairs, especially on the womens one and black aviators one. Just use your days off and- ohhhhhh.

Do 10 years of it (much under older, less pleasant work rules) and then get back to me. Better yet fly with a 1999 hire MSP captain and ask their opinion.

No, he's just saying to have a little perspective and quit whining. This is one of the best times to be a pilot. The majors are just beginning to retire. Do something to build your resume and suck it up. It could be a lost worse. Ask Avro what they were getting paid for all those years. At least every pilot at this airline is getting paid a wage they can live off of.

And I am not trying to say that they did not go through a rough time. No reason to use it as a deflection to current issues. If you want to dredge up the past as an excuse for the issues that are not being dealt with, you’re part of the problem.

Sure, plenty of good things at endeavor. Why is it a problem to call out the issues that are preventing it from being better?
