They don't hand them out if you don't bid for them. For example, if there were 10 TOWOP slots available in a position, and if only eight pilots bid for TOWOP in that position, then only eight TOWOPs would be awarded.

Looking through the bid pack, about half the TOWOP slots went un bid for- including all the NY200CA slots. We will see what that means when lines come out later today.

I don’t know why the company is so adverse to TDY as of late. Nyc 200 and 900 both overstaffed meanwhile ATL is constantly in a credit push...they need to think hard about where people are placed. I lack confidence in JF.

RP is at fault, but that's what happens when you put Gerry- i mean Larry Gergich in charge of anything in the office.

That is because the RLA forbids national unions in the transportation sector. ALPA is a association. Each airline has their own union that ALPA will provide support to within the limits of the RLA.
