OK should of put that more into perspective. 290 includes rsv for 3 months and line flying 3 months and no less than 12 days off...actually one of those months I had 27 days off (Aug included vacation and getting covid). And flew only 10 hrs with a line. So if you go by avgs I should be over 350 in 6 months.

What is your goal? Are you trying to accumulate flight time for some reason specifically? Are you trying to improve qol? Make money?
Just trying to understand why your are opposed to it.
Fwiw.... The year I flew 600 hours, I think I credited almost 1100 hours. The next year I flew 375 hours, credited 1100 hours with an average of 18.25 days off per month.

coming to endeavor will improve my QOL regardless believe me. But I also want to fly and get hours as soon as possible. Obviously I’ll be at the bottom and crap rolls down hill and I have to do my time on reserve, but I’m just concerned about being on reserve for 5-6 months and 30-40 hour block lines once I do have a line.
in the 121 world very very very few people fly that much. I once talked to a 117 coordinator because I was getting close to it. And he said they have maybe a handful of people per year that ever hit that limit.

ok that’s not bad. I’ve just seen multiple people throw numbers like 30 and 40 and it kinda worried me.

He's right.. I'm OO MSP and block 80-90 month with 13-15 days off. We are losing pilots like crazy. We lost 133 in September.

wow that’s crazy, I thought it was bad here as far as attrition. Well I’ll be there soon so hopefully I won’t be living that reserve life too long. Thanks for all the info fellas.

If you think 3 1/2 years is a long time to upgrade, remember, not so long ago it was close to 8 years, and F/O pay was a lot lower then...
