While the enhancements are much welcome, appreciated, and a solid gesture, 13% is a bit pathetic if that’s all we can move.

Honestly I’d be shocked if even 50% of pilots on property had Delta as their sole and final career goal.

The DGI isn't contractual, but the MEC certainly was involved. Even the company said it was a three-way meeting in its communication. Agreed that the change at the MEC probably helped move things along.

And let's not kid ourselves... these concessions were only offered cause attrition is up and Recruiting is working overtime to fill classes... with more airplanes on the way. And Not because Delta suddenly realized how valuable we are. Delta just needs to make sure they can staff 9E by making the DGI a little bit more attractive... even though they HATE doing it.

Credit where it’s due, it’s a nice improvement! But if you’re passing on a chance to go to Spirit or United or jetBlue NOW for a marginally-improved DGI 3 years from now, I think your priorities are askew.

And as far as the poster comparing Alaska taking 55% from horizon, that argument will carry more weight when they’re hiring over a 1000 pilots per year; until then expecting DL to take 600+ 9E pilots per year is unfathomable.
