or how it relates to Delta’s colors or interior design. I don’t see purple accents anywhere.

I always assumed someone in upper-level management said "hmm, our colors are red and blue...that makes purple ". I still don't totally understand it, but what I recall from the early days of the rollout was that some study or survey was conducted in which travelers couldn't easily distinguish between DL flight attendants and those of other airlines. No clue if that was even true, and the more I thought about it the less sense it made, since the only time you'd ever need to distinguish what a FA uniform looked like is onboard a plane...not to mention each regional has a different DL uniform. I've always enjoyed how the grey looks on male FAs and gate agents, but I've never been a fan of the purple on the women. Maybe it was the cut of the dress? I could never quite put my thumb on it, but it just never really was flattering on any of them. Anyway, I'm sticking with my own personal theory that someone blended red and blue and thought it was innovation.

I think the proper delta scheme should go with purple seats, white shag carpet, and gold accents.

And shampoo / sanitize that white shag after every flight.

More like spray some stuff that smells funny and say to everyone: "Wow look at the great job we do 'cleaning' our aircraft! Nevermind the dirty diaper we forgot about in your seat back pocket!"

The most often overheard comment I hear from passengers is: "Why weren't they always cleaning the jets like this?"

We don’t leave the diapers, they do.

Not true. Fact, most crews bring diapers from home and leave them in seatbacks on deadhead. Gotta save money on trash bills at home!

That way their family, at home, is not full of it.

I still believe the pandemic ends on Nov 4th. People dying from COVID today are getting hit by cars or jumping off buildings and then getting written down as a COVID death.
This didn't age well.
