Well back in the day when you started and airlines hired 250 hour pilots with no type I can see where you might have a point, but that’s not the case any more. Also, how do you ever expect your young FOs to get a feel for the plane if you never let them fly, you are setting them up for failure career wise which makes you a failure.

Also to add to all of you arguing the 4th stripe on the blazer. The company put out a memo stating that they did not have to remove the blazsr stripe but the hat and epaulets should match you position. If and when we see downgrads we can all follow the companies position via memo at that time.
It's sad how some of you act in here, but to each his own. I'll be a downgraded Captain more than likely with my LCP letter collecting dust. I will be there doing my job as an FO.

You and many others here obviously weren't around last time. There were many reason that a downgraded CA retained his pay. Why would you think any number of those don't apply now? I asked the questio purely due to the fact I read it included future realignments but missed the date the LOA was no longer valid.

Looks like demand is slowly coming back. Hopefully Delta doesn’t screw this up. Flights have been full. Based on my machine of knowledge and quick napkin math, we should hit 500k by June 20th. If we hit 70% of last years numbers by September I think we’ll be okay.
