RayRay and whoareyou must be 2 of the most pathetic captains out there and the only way they can make up for their severe deficiencies are to micromanage FOs. I cane even imagine being an FO going from one of these guys to the other in the same day. One want to “have fun” and the other want the FO to aid down shut up and only talk when essential or spoken to. I’m sure these 2 are the kinds that micromanage the entire flight then turn around and make 5x more mistakes than the FO, then gets ****y when called on it. In all reality these guys get rejected by every major and have a huge chip on their shoulder and a superiority complex they take out of their FOs

How do Regional lifers still not know what Pilot in Command means? If you can't exert your PIC authority because the other person's cosmetic outerwear then you are probably not right for this business anymore. Take that early retirement.

I don’t think you understand the issues a downgrade CA can present. If you think of it as a demotion and the different feelings that can go with it you can sympathize with everyone. Down graded pilot may be anti authority, resignation, depressed or any other feelings. Pic might have feelings about ordering their peer, friend or classmates to operate in a different way.

The Uniform Guide and FOM are silent on whether a downgraded CA is or is not allowed to wear their CA bars in the right seat, so it would be hard to kick someone out of the flight deck on the basis of those two documents, and I have yet to see a policy statement of any kind prohibiting it.

Also you all need to step away from the internet for a while and smell the flowers to regain some perspective and stop falling for Rayjay hook line and sinker. OTOH Rayjay keep it up, the chuckle during quarantine is nice. It's amazing to see how thick you can lay it on and they still keep going!

Well back in the day when you started and airlines hired 250 hour pilots with no type I can see where you might have a point, but that’s not the case any more. Also, how do you ever expect your young FOs to get a feel for the plane if you never let them fly, you are setting them up for failure career wise which makes you a failure.

Schadenfreude is the word I think you're all reaching for.
But to get back on track...
Endeavor has:
1004 CA
926 FO
397 pilots 50 and older including
85 pilots who are 60 and older.
102 CA Management pilots
43 FO Management pilots
I mention management pilots because they fly only a small percentage of the total bidable hours each month.
A little known fact about furloughs. Approximately 30% do not return. Furloughing is unwise when there other options like unpaid LOAs, Early-out retirements, SSP, and DGI.
When you consider Endeavor was having difficulty hiring pilots prior to April, and its top-heavy pilot group, I'd say Endeavor is better poised for the future than any other carrier in the USA.
