Hi all, sorry if this is already in the thread somewhere. I did look for a bit but have a couple questions:
As I understand it, you’re told what kind of equipment you get during the first week. Is it just arbitrarily chosen? Do they ask your preference?
I want to be NY based. But it would suck to find out I got assigned equipment that doesn’t operate out of NYC.
Also, is there a seat lock? If I was assigned a type that wasn’t out of NYC, how long would it take me to get to NY?

it is 18 month seat lock, and with NYC being 900 only, if you get the 200 you’ll be locked out of NYC unless they reopen the 200 base there.
