Post Training Hotel during new hire?

I thought I found a thread that talked about the new hire training hotel and a general type of ground school schedule someone could expect during new hire training. Can’t seem to find that thread anymore, would someone mind sharing what hotel you guys usually stay at and how the ground school is? As in, is it Monday -Friday ? 7am-6pm etc etc.

Feel free to send a PM is that’s better.

Thank you!

Sheraton Suites in Plantation, FL. Nice hotel with decent gym, shuttle service and stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The schedule is nothing like M-F. It’s kinda all over the place. 6 on, 1 off. 5 on, 2 off. 6am- 4pm. 7am-5pm. CSI’s and FTD’s could be scheduled to start briefing at 5 am or 5 pm. Sometimes there’s a 3-4 day break in training that I recommend making good use of, but not many.

Basically, expect to be at the school house all day, nearly every day, and then be ready to hit the books with your study partners for the majority of your off time. Things get easier when you move to aircraft only training, and your time off will increase during the day. But you’ll still need to be deep in the books the entire time.

Lets not forgot the rooftop pool! Remember cans only......

Also if you're close enough where you can drive down to FLL, do it.
The hotel is far from the training center and wasting 30-45 mins waiting on the hotel shuttle really sucks after a long day. Especially when everyone is on different schedules for the CSI, FTD, and sim portion.

The most valuable info about training I've ever seen.
