No. Schedules are terrible and inefficient. Ready reserve sucks. Management freely admits the schedules will not get better. CVG is notoriously u commutable. You'll have to decide if it's worth it to you.

That’s what everyone said a couple months ago. Yes I can drive to CVG on 90 minutes or take a GA plane and be up in 30 minutes. CVG is a 700/900 base still, that would be if they didn’t put me on the 200. What are some examples of the schedules and days off. It seems like that’s the most common gripe lately?

Have a prior to 7am report on day 1. Fly 4 legs a day for 4 days. End in CVG on day 4 after 6pm and then get 2-3 days off. Repeat.

You’re right. In 12 months time, the captain side of the seniority list will be gutted. The only possible way they can continue to operate at current capacity is to attract a bunch of (competent) street captains. I don’t see that happening.
The plan seems to be to keep rearranging the deck chairs until big D comes up with a fix. Something about fail to plan -plan to fail.

1. They'll come back to the table with more
2. The economy will be in shambles, the music will stop, and we'll all have a few extra bucks to soften the blow in the event of a bankruptcy, sale, or other mess that Delta will create
3. The human race will be extinct due to a massive nuclear war and money won't matter anyway
Take the money, don't spend it. If you get called to another carrier, pay it back and file for the tax refund. We all know this won't solve the problems facing our airline and Delta is not yet willing to accept reality. Don't worry, the market will soon force them to and it will be much more expensive for them to fix it then.
Being a big ship with a small rudder is not something to be proud of.
