Plenty of guys have started at one legacy and gone to another for a base down the line. Usually within probie year, but not exclusively.

United is getting ready to open new Pilot bases. Maybe MSP will be one for you? Definitely go and see what new bases open!

I'm not sure how senior ORD and DEN are these days for UA, but MSP is very senior at DL and getting worse. You will almost certainly not get it as a new hire and even when you do, your movement will be a lot slower than other bases. It's always better to drive to work, but in the case of MSP as a DL pilot it might not be much better.

United for sure.

Go to United. Our Flow calculator is inaccurate. One minute it shows pilots flowing in a few months, next minute it shows them flowing in a year. Nobody can make an informed career decision with such garbage-like software.

It's hard to believe it was accidental the company forgot to account for all those that accepted flow.

I doubt it was an accident, but now everyone is wising up. Time to bail...

This is actually a really good point. If you want Delta because of MSP you're going to be disappointed. It's super senior with no noticeable growth and it seems (maybe unfairly) that everyone there is really salty. They certainly have a reputation I hear about every time I pass through there.

I also have noticed this asking guys that I know at Delta based in msp. They’re upgrading already in detroit because there seniority is better in detroit as a captain than being an fo in msp.
