Highly doubt it. Each of the big 3 see elevated retirements for the better part of the next ten years. If they want TPIC, they wont find much of it. The people with the bulk of TPIC are going to want to stay put at their LCCs, and they aren't gonna hire from their regional carriers when they're barely able to staff the left seat.
TPIC wont come back as a hard requirement for another 5 years is my guess. The hiring pool is thin.
What might help RJ hiring is the fact that NK isn't hiring, F9 is stocked up on 2024 hires through their RTP/cadet program, and no one wants to go to allegiant.

Like you said, the ULCCs have less hiring, DL is at 1100. Unsure united or AA. No FedEx or UPS.

In this environment I'd steer far from flows. But at our level (0 121/turbine time), you take what you can get. I'd personally enjoy Envoy.. waiting :'( lol

I'd consider it temporary. UA and AA will be hiring a lot for the foreseeable future. Delta folks seem to be at about 1000 indefinitely. WN probably similar. There's gonna be a lot of hiring over the next 7-12 years but the usual caveats apply.

Hiring will still be big, but I don't expect to see any years like 2022/23 again.

I don't think retention money did squat. Wouldn't be surprised to see it not renewed.
2024 major hiring will be much reduced from 2022/23, that will help the regional staffing issues. It'll be more competitive to get a call at a legacy, and might spur TPIC being a thing again.

Without a doubt. Staple or do a shadow seniority number based on upgrade date (for current FOs) and a phase in process for pilots currently on the list similar to current flow. Offer a multi year lock and now you can fly E2s or higher MTOW CRJ9s.

Dread to think about the CG on that thing.
In reality, flow EDV with a solid fence and new longevity credit starting day 1 of LOA, bring the ERJ over for now and long term use it to pivot into the E2-190/195 with no scope concerns. You can also hire direct to Delta for mainline stuff, or Propel/ATP mins hire to Mini Delta with a lock. Unconventional, but everything about the industry in unconventional.
