Out of seniority furlough is a managements wet dream.
First off, there have been no furloughs yet post ISL, so why even bring it up. Secondly, take Mesaba's history and apply an out of seniority furlough. They could have furloughed Avro pilots and Saab pilots in the past fleet reductions while new hires with their epaulettes upside down kept their jobs on the "9". To quote Office Space, "this is horrible, this idea". |
