Pinnacle=Endeavor Air

Name change is official. Pinnacle is to become Endeavor Air. Just as bad as Surejet.

Redbird611 05-31-2013 01:23 PM

Source? Wasn't Endeavor Airways one of the options in the post-Surejet debacle employee vote at XJT?

whataclub 05-31-2013 01:26 PM

It is on the front page of the employee website... voting for the new logo to take place next week for employees online

PinnacleFO 05-31-2013 01:27 PM

I'm ok with it

Redbird611 05-31-2013 01:29 PM

I'm still not exactly clear on why a name change was necessary, but you could do a lot worse.

captain152 05-31-2013 01:31 PM

Not gonna lie... I like it.

LivnthedrM 05-31-2013 01:42 PM

What's your source??

mooney 05-31-2013 01:42 PM

one small step for Pinnacle.....one giant leap for the aviation industry.

Tinpusher007 05-31-2013 02:00 PM

Awfully late for that, no?

Palmtree Pilot 05-31-2013 02:20 PM

WOW, what a stupid name. Do they even know what "endeavor" means. I'm trying to think of another airline with a verb in front of "Air" as the name.

Actually it's pretty funny!

Why not hustle air, strain air, struggle air or slave air; Mean the same thing and not so corny.

Avoid Airlines.

There's your verb you seek. :D

To sum it up, ShyGuy.

I was hired not acquired.

The Juice 05-31-2013 02:43 PM

Will the name change, can CRJ time now be logged as space shuttle time?

Delta does require shuttle time, so it makes sense.

That's really not something to brag about. :D

PinnacleFO 05-31-2013 03:00 PM

Does this mean that endeavor be in charge of all delta shuttle operations?

Mesabah 05-31-2013 03:03 PM

More like Challenger Airlines, IMHO.

You'll have to change your name now though! lol... I think it's ok as well...

ShyGuy 05-31-2013 03:29 PM

Endeavor Air? It could have been worse, Challenger Air or Columbia Air. Then you know it would be shutting down. ;)

But on a serious note, what is up with this ------ Career section of 9E:

Pinnacle Airlines, Inc. | Careers

On all job listings drop down menu, open it, and there is one:

END STATE - TRANSITION (INTERNAL EMPLOYEES ONLY)

If you click it there's no job posting though.

fatsopilot 05-31-2013 03:33 PM

How does this company have resources and time to come up with this nonsense? I don't get it, this place is a joke. I can't believe we allowed this contract to pass so this manure hole could stay in business.

Jesus. You really have no life do you. Not only can't you move on you still snoop around Pinnacle Airlines job postings? You really can't get over this place. Or are you that big of a tool?

It is when you are working for the varsity airline from MEM.

johnso29 05-31-2013 03:59 PM

Meh.....nevermind.

Avroman 05-31-2013 04:06 PM

How about dividing up the money about to be wasted on this to be given out to the employees. I wonder how long I will have to wait for the jacket wings this time.

Einstein, I got a txt from a 9E pilot about that and how he said there was some kinda end state thing going on. Contrary to what you believe, I'm not looking at career sections of other airlines.

Totally brah. I can't tell you how many times i have told people, "Yeah Skywest, Eagle, Air Wisconsin, Republic, Mesaba, Commutair, Comair, Skyway, Mesa, and ACA all offered me a job. But I turned them down. I was really hoping Pinnacle called me back. Thank god I waited."

xjcrew1 05-31-2013 05:20 PM

I'll wager a $100 bucks that Shyguy will post again about this name change. Just can't let go can ya?

BlueMoon 05-31-2013 05:42 PM

Endeavor Air "Where your dreams won't be realized"

Farmlover 05-31-2013 06:48 PM

Endeavor Air "where your dreams will be stolen by a colgan pilot"

No dawg in this fight, but I don't think the Colgan pilots asked to be bought by 9e. And I'm fairly certain an arbitrator created the merged seniority list. ;)

surfer1212 05-31-2013 08:16 PM

Exactly. Why blame them? After 7 years at this place, I'm back on reserve. But I'm not blaming colgan or mesaba. You know who I blame? Our union reps (specifically JH) who sold out their pilot group to protect themselves.
