Pure speculation I am not trying to start a rumor to ruffle feathers. My logic is Delta wants to have complete control over there regional feed. Combining the two would make business sense. They would have control over MX, Safety, Customer Care etc. I also imagine Delta knows the business model of the regional airline is going to look a lot different in 3 years and will make changes today to ensure seamless service and high profits.

They'll get super seniority because they have greater career expectations.

Well it could happen if it made him more money in a short time. But I dont think it will which means we are merging tomorrow probably.

From the job fairs: The number of applications being received is very very low. We have to start hiring immediately.

Delta management will have to step in and do something, anything. Otherwise, I doubt this place lasts very long. I give it three years if the status quo remains.

Has anyone thought this...

Endeavor announced hiring (knowing very well they will not be able to find anyone to come), in an effort to keep the bottom from bailing at such a rapid pace thus causing cancellations and bad performance numbers. An announcement like this can quickly change the minds of hundreds of pilots that were looking for an escape from 9E... The company has found numerous ways to manipulate the pilot group in the past, so a move like this seems right in their playbook.

They'll need more than a hiring announcement to keep people from leaving and I'd imagine they're smart enough to realize that.

Do they really though? 85% decided this was better than the street, I don't imagine it will take much more to keep a$$es in seats. It's much easier to stay put than go somewhere new. If they keep interviewing from all over the list and hiring into the pit... or I mean pool many folks will do the easy thing and wait to see how it plays out.

Of that 85% what %% do you think decided that having a paycheck and a "longevity payout" was better than the street while they tried to find something better???
