Default Endeavor to Delta Impact

Pilot shortage solved...Signal to Delta...no need to raise pay rates. It's like playing poker in Vegas, the house always wins. I'm just beat up...

Well, if you haven't applied...you better hurry...seniority is everything! Plus
I need some numbers behind me.

"With the implementation of the EtD Commitment we have seen our applications increase to 224 total apps currently in processing and screening. To put things in perspective, prior to implementation of EtD we have averaged 3.5 apps per day."

Are you trying to sell something?? Do you get a
Comision for every app on file?? You took the bait to easy, or you forgot to log out....

Lets be honest.. Aome one hired today.. Fleet going to 81 aircraft. Thats 450 captains. Top 300 lifer's.. So leaves 150 spots. Best case 7-8 years. Then 2 more to flow.. Go to Compass, Mesa ect.. Get time and appy direct. Be a lot fast with Delta hiring 100 a month soon!!! Not to mention there suckering you into one airline.. Delta.. Plenty other majors hiring...

Would hope ALPA stops this new flow. All pilots or no pilots!!!

Even IF they are able to increase hiring numbers the new hires will very quickly realize that all they were in this hoax were naive/desperate pilots with "SUCKER" written all over themselves. They will jump ship and the process will start all over again. It won't take long before the new guys see that it's a huge joke.

With all the flows and SSP taking up quite a big chunk of new hires at delta...off the street hire into delta will become even more difficult than it is even now...until the doors really open wide...so I would argue against you on that one...people will apply here and we all need to make the best of it...for some this EtD will be a good thing, for others they will just B and moan about it!

We will have our first interviews next week. Of the above number 37 have been successfully screened and will be interviewed, and 47 are in the initial screening process. 85 applicants have been contacted due to incomplete application.

CEO already said they want 149 planes here and stated such in a base visit. I know its probably just kool aide, but if we get enough new hires, and as cheap as we are, I see it happening. Still though, the last public fleet plan is 81 planes so for now you are correct. I don't think the EtD will be enough for us to staff 149 planes, but we'll see. We can't even staff what we have right now.

None of this matters. All that matters is how many new hires are in class each month. He said before we averaged 3.5 apps a day. That's 105 apps a month. We all saw what that translated into in terms of new hires in class each month.

149 airplanes. Recalculate that number. With the ssp upgrades will happen

It's funny how everyone stands behind Stop the Whipsaw but then as soon as there's a flowthrough to Delta everyone jumps on board. If I were CEO I'd probably be whipsawing the regionals too since all of their pilots seem so willing to go for any carrot dangled.

This is only going to prove to other regional carriers that groups are willing to take concessionary contracts as long as you announce bad flow through agreements to go along with them. Get ready for more of this in the future.
