If you assume they're starting from zero, sure, but he doesn't say that. They could've had a number of applications that were already classified as "in processing and screening" for whatever reason. He said applications increased to 224, so without knowing where they started, we don't really know what impact the EtD announcement had on applications. Why doesn't he compare apples to apples and say "We went from x applications per day to y applications per day. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but sounds like the weasel words that marketers use when they're selling something that doesn't work very well.

Nailed it.

You can throw around application numbers all day, but if you want the actual results... Look at how many numbers get added to the seniority list.

Read about a flt instructor with 7 classes to 7 regionals...applications don't mean a lot.

They also said that they were avg 3.5 apps a day prior to the EtD. This is approx 110 a month, yet they're only hiring 2-3 a month. So with 224 apps that's only about 4-7 new hires

The numbers I'm curious to see are how many of those seniority list numbers actually end up at Delta.

I'm certainly not biting at the EtD. People can go if they want but remember this proverb: "If it's too good to be true...it probably isn't true!!!!"

feedback would be for you to read the threads for mesaba, pinnacle and now Endeavor and see what a disfunctional airline you are trying to get hired on too.. Personally being a 7 almost eight year FO, downgraded equipment downgraded QOL and pay. WHY would you want to go somewhere where you are capped at 4 year pay? dont beleive youll be left seat that long? I got a bit of experienced advice, we were all told 1.5-2 year upgrades same as your being told now. Take a look at the threads and try to count how many 7-8 year FO's there are, now add up how many lifers are at the company and then the fleet reduction plan that still has not changed. You are commiting career suicide if you want progression!

Boils down to

Feedback: Go charter, Go Corporate, Go to Compass but dont waste your time going to Endeavor and by all means avoid a Delta if you can

It's the Delta interview, you'll have to go ask on the Majors forum.
