On the 900 though. Late 07 guys are holding 16-18 days off on the 200. Did you even have the 200 high on your bid cars? I know a Nov 07 guy getting 18 days off in LGA. I think you'll be surprised about your line. DTW and MSP 900 Aare very senior.

Currently you need 5 years just to hold M9F. Not sure about DTW without pulling it up. I'm only in the top ⅓ of Msp with 8 years as a downgrade displacement.

PSA would have to offer me street captain to leave. Over 5000TT here and lots of piston multi PIC. I'm aiming for low cost carriers and until then I'm going down with the ship. I live in base for now so QOL is still palatable. Even when I start commuting from JAX, this place still offers me the easiest commute compared to the other carriers that are growing (they'd be two leggers more than likely).

I hope you are right Mr. Higney. I went from flying my ass off to now getting told by CS that "we seem to be well staffed in NY now and there is nothing to give you." It's a bit disheartening when I want to fly and hustle to break guarantee to cover some unforeseen expenses and the upcoming holidays!

Not sure if they are that fat in the captain side, but I called a few days ago to try and drop my first JFK out and back so at least one side of these completely un commutable trips in NYC, would be commutable. Was basically told within .0000001 seconds, "no way, we are hurting so bad for captains."

With regard to MSP900FO, I think it just depends on which carrier you came from. Pre-merger mesaba pilots in late 07 through Jan 08 are certainly not able to hold M9F. Only pre-merger pinnacle or colgan, in that time frame, would hold M9F. Pre-merger mesaba in that DOH range, are barely even able to hold DTW 200 FO or even MSP 200 FO.

When speaking of DOH to hold a particular position, you really have to always consider the worst case scenario; and that depends on the position, as to which pilot group made out worse on the ISL.

Guess I should have specified FO staffing. It does seem the captains are flying more...yet we are downgrading.

Yep, my thought exactly. We're short on captains... Let's downgrade.... Makes sense.
