Not arguing, just that their charts line up with everything available to me.

Just for one example the 60-76 seat 20 year rate for Skywest is too low, didn't try to go through every single chart and year though.

APC shows CRJ900 captains at $115 per hour at year 20, APC rounds their numbers so I don't know the exact dollars and cents.

The graph has Skywest this year at just below $115 an hour.

What is the current exact hourly rate?

It's not a huge difference, actually little over 115(chart showed under).
Thought the 50 seat 20 year rate was off by a lot more, but then realized it only goes to 17 years.
Also, thought you were initially implying that only Expressjet had higher rates?

When I first looked at the chart I thought ExpressJet was the only one over but there are a couple of rates at the 18+ years that do go over a little of what 9E is getting.

Fellas, I read all 5 pages of this post and still need some help . I am current AD military pilot with apps in with the legacies/majors. Still have several months left on AD before I punch. Can you guys explain to this FNG what this all means? I am still learning the lingo here. As a pilot who is worried I might not get the call from a legacy/major...money-wise, this retention plan seems like the best deal going on with the regionals--at least according to the pay scales on airlinepilotcentral. However, I can discern the negativey and lack of confidence with this retention plan. Please explain in cave man terms. Also, what did some guys mean when they said Delta cut too deep? If the regionals (for some) are openly viewed as a steeping stone to a legacy/major, why not work for endeavor for a couple-three years and take advantage of this bonus as a pure military aviator who may not get called by the big three? Thanks in advance...try to be nice to me.

Short and sweet answer:

Endeavor was 3 airlines combined into 1, went through a nasty bankruptcy and Delta came out owning us.

We had a decent contract and during bankruptcy Delta said take a concessionary contract or we close shop. We believed them and voted in cuts to the contract.

Now they are having trouble keeping and or hiring so they are putting money back in everyone's pocket for at least the next 4 years.

A lot of people (from other regionals) think (hope) we will be shutdown by Delta. I don't see that happening, especially since they just committed $20,000 extra per year per pilot for the next 4 years.

Once the crj200 aircraft stop leaving our property and we start to get them back, there will be huge movement in seniority.

So are you saying that 9E will be the sole CRJ200 operator for DL? There is only room for 85 of them between all the regionals since there are still 40 ERJ145s under contract.

That's a good question.

I'm guessing around 40 200's and they give us the remaining 30 900 options once they know they can staff us.

Just my guess though.

The other thing is, it seems that Endeavor was specifically designed to force the other Delta FFD carriers to offer the rock bottom price or go out of business trying. You see, all the Delta carriers signed an agreement that they could not charge more than X% over the lowest bidder, if they did, they had to cut what they charged Delta. So Delta basically put a fix in and created a two step hustle worthy of the craftiest pool shark. Bankrupt a feeder, buy them out for pennies, then use them to swindle the other carriers. There oughta be a law....
