That "rumor" was discussed in the Crew Planning section of last months bid pack.

That section didn't say anything firm.. everything is still up in the air and dependent on actually getting those 3 700's.. the 900's can't go there

Aren’t the 700s supposed to be on property late next year or early 2019?

Yes. This time next year.

Can anyone open the older versions of the ISL (excel version)? I can open the most recent one, but when I try to open earlier ones from this year and back to 2015, they all appear corrupted. Excel tries, but cannot open.

Thanks guys for the replies. I think I will just stick with republic then. I just cannot afford right now to get a crash pad in NYC aswell as afford to go through training with the current pay rates. Extreamly jealous though of your new TA, congrats!

Isn't republic pay way below ours? Crash pad is about 250 per month. I think you'd make way more than $250 per month in the difference. If it's just about money, think 5 years out. You'll upgrade here much much faster than republic. I know guys in year 3 and 4 who haven't upgraded there.

Edit: furthermore, you'll get the 10k signing and by the time you finish training the new rates will kick in. And you'll still get part of the retention bonus for being here in 2016. Crap now would be a great time to come here. You'll make a fortune first year

For anyone thinking of coming here. I would wait to see if this T/A passes. If it does pass they will implement the additional 10,000 dollar bonus. That’s an extra 10 grand in your pocket.

Have you seen those lines? Those guys should get 80 hours. A CNO is the worst of both the worlds. You get some set flying you can't swap and a whole bunch of reserve. Why anyone would bid that I don't know, and obviously the company finds it useful.

I don't think you know what you are talking about. As someone who has done 7+ years of reserve as one of the bottom 900 CA's, I can tell you that CNO was a huge relief from the high amount of schedule swapping done on the old reserve system.

Ending p3 2 on 1 off won't do anything for scheduling, because once you are used for a CDO, unless there is another CDO, you are not usable. What the company wants to do is get the senior guys off 2/1 reserve, so they can push p3 on the most junior pilots in position, however, this won't work because in the many years I worked reserve, P3 was always bid by pilots who had weeks of vacation. This means that the CDO's will be covered by p1 pilots, or 2 p2 pilots.

I wouldn't be surprised by the company eliminating CDOs in the next few years, they don't have the resources to cover these flights.

The 10k wouldn't come online till probably Febuary. You would have made more then 10K here by than anyway... not worth the wait. Waiting for a bonus that is hypothetically possible is not worth lost wages and seniority.

I've done 3 high speeds in a row on P3 reserve. If it wasn't something the company notice as a problem with pilot productivity it wouldn't have been included in the TA.

If P3 and CDO are so bad for pilot productivity, then get rid of those, don't force reserves into longer stretches of reserve days.
