Ok, I’m baffled. After the chart posted in the Facebook group, I had to go digging regarding the 200 in DTW during August as I couldn’t believe the low flight numbers. Unfortunately, he’s pretty close to right by my math
GRB, DAY, EVV, MBS and AZO is all SkyWest in August. DTW-LAN is 2 out of 3 daily on SkyWest. What happened to the even split between the 200 in DTW and ATL management was talking about? DTW 200 is roughly 13% of ATL 200 by number of flights. Why is SkyWest back so strongly with the 200? |
Here’s what I see left out of DTW on the CRJ-200 for August.
DTW-ATW 31 flights DTW-CWA 31 flights DTW-BTV 31 flights DTW-LEX 62 flights DTW-LAN 31 flights DTW-ORH 31 flights Total: 217 flights |

I can't imagine that flying 10 people from DTW to LAN is profitable. It's better to stick the subcontractors with the unprofitable routes and let them deal with the consequences.

Can anyone comment what JSing on an EDV CR9 looks like right now? It’s 2-2 so are they blocking aisle seats? What kind of load on 76 seats would I stand a chance of getting on? And how are you guys on physically occupying the JS, are guys generally okay with it? This would be a ~40 minute air time flight.
Thank you! |
