As a DEC, you’ll be on reserve at rock bottom of the list for probably 4.5 years. Get ready to sit airport ready reserve 5-10 days a month.

If I waited to flow, my projected date is running about July 2023. So I’d imagine about 2027-2028 for you.

Do NOT come here as a DEC...try for any of the majors/ulcc. Your life will be miserable as a DEC

What if someone really likes sitting around bored doing ready reserve?

How junior is DTW? How long would it take to hold as a new hire? Also do they fly the 900 there too?

DTW 200 should be available on day one. The DTW 900 plug, as of today, is a February new hire.

I'm a March NH and got DTW on the 900 while in ground school. I think only 2-3 of us got it, but it's definitely possible to get out of training

does bidding for dtw during training increase my chance of getting the 200 or is that not a factor?

Not a factor. You’ll be assigned an aircraft first.

At what point during training will you know aircraft type and domicile?
