I doubt that will change much. The next year is pretty much already determined. http://www.bizjournals.com/twincitie...p-in-2017.html

You can thank BLOW JETS for our reductions on the 900 in DTW as they got kicked out of NYC because they couldn't handle it...oddly enough they can't handle DTW either...those idiots caused two go arounds the other night because they couldn't follow simple headings and airspeeds from approach control. Not to mention every time I walk by one of their gates in DTW it is delayed.

The kicker for us is this announcement from skywest about a heavy reduction in 200's...not only expressjet 200s...but possibly their own on the skywest side might also be going away or reduced. That will be our saving grace if we take back some of that flying in DTW and/or MSP. Is there hope? yes.... is it happening now...nope. Time will tell.

I think *if* the southern base comes true, that will be a big mover of people in MSP and DTW.

PS. People of all seniority levels are moving onward (other jobs) and upward (upgrades). So there will be movement in 2017.

XJT is losing 49 200s, but SKW as a whole is turning in something like 76 total IIRC.

Had a GoJet bird in front of us last month in DTW, going to 21R for departure. After messing up 3 different taxi instructions, ground parked them on 9L and let about 3 or 4 birds pass them on the way to 21R. Heard ground call them as I was switching to tower, said if they could comply with instructions, they could proceed once again. Ouch!

Ya, I'm not sure how Trans States operates. But GoJet is terrible and Compass appears to be heading that direction. I can't figure out why Delta puts up with that. I mean, they can't handle New York so Delta gives them easier flying. Go figure

I sure would like to see some movement and growth again in DTW on the 200.

Which accounts for the Delta 200s minus the 200s on EAS contracts. 12 AA 200s slowly coming off line.
