You'd have better chances applying at getting hired at a legacy carrier than get based in MSP.

And when you DO get it, the most junior line holder on both birds are November 2015 hires. So expect to sit RSV for quite some time, probably a year or more.

A year would be amazing. I'm a February 2016 hire and I'm still on reserve with no end in sight. Still thankful I even managed to get MSP in the first place. If you want to be in MSP, Endeavor is not the place anymore.

It seems like none of the regionals have new hires coming to MSP anymore. Skywest is focusing on DTW and ORD, Compass is LAX once they restart their new hire classes, and we are NYC focused. It's a shame to see with how big of an airport MSP is. Hopefully new growth, or more legacy hiring, will come in 2017.

I doubt that will change much. The next year is pretty much already determined. http://www.bizjournals.com/twincitie...p-in-2017.html

You can thank BLOW JETS for our reductions on the 900 in DTW as they got kicked out of NYC because they couldn't handle it...oddly enough they can't handle DTW either...those idiots caused two go arounds the other night because they couldn't follow simple headings and airspeeds from approach control. Not to mention every time I walk by one of their gates in DTW it is delayed.

The kicker for us is this announcement from skywest about a heavy reduction in 200's...not only expressjet 200s...but possibly their own on the skywest side might also be going away or reduced. That will be our saving grace if we take back some of that flying in DTW and/or MSP. Is there hope? yes.... is it happening now...nope. Time will tell.

I think *if* the southern base comes true, that will be a big mover of people in MSP and DTW.

PS. People of all seniority levels are moving onward (other jobs) and upward (upgrades). So there will be movement in 2017.
