Thats irrelevant. They are still FO's and never had that 121 CA experience.

No thanks.

And what if they are typed pilots who have come over from another airline? I don't care who is teaching me the box, as long as they are proficient in the aircraft. JetBlue has sim instructors in the 190 who have never been line pilots, let alone captains, and yet their people are learning just fine.

Yea they don't fly that cheap plastic jungle jet that still feels light even with the engines under the wing.

I love theses threads, listen flying a plane is not rocket science ! ATP standards are what they are for a reason lol if you cant apply your self enough to pass an oral, if your flying isnt up to snuff to pass a type ride after 5 or so sim sessions, then you probly shouldt be a pilot, if you question your abilities to study and apply yourself to a course that the bar is set very low for, move on. I mean come on it not like your taking state medical board exams lol

So a Major 777, 757, 767, 737 Airbus FO got the same experience as a jungle jet Regional 6yr FO with 0 PIC.

Got it.
