I experienced a lot of different situations in my short 8.5 years in the right seat which I am now able to use in the left. I question how the transition will be for guys with only 2 years under their belt. Of course we all know how to fly, but when it comes to making those PIC decisions will some of these guys have issues? I guess time will tell good luck to all.

Its not rocket science you know.

Envoy Haters Club in 3, 2...

( I can't wait and see how they attempt to twist this into a bad thing )

What I don't understand is why do we have to go around and spread lies/half truths when facts are all that needs to reported. And the upgrade times are very good news and will only get better.

We don't have a sub two year upgrade time. Paper CA doesn't equal real CA. By late summer/fall we should (based on the flow plan) have sub three year CAs finishing IOE. We may see a sub two year CA in the winter but who knows.

Please don't let it be we are operating more e-140s.

So all of the claims of the "Envoy salesmen" turned out to be true, so far...

I wonder what Ag386 and eaglefly are up to these days. I was seriously skeptical of the 2.5 year upgrade/6 year flow claims, but it appears as though the 2015 hires hit the sweet spot.

More 140's wouldn't be terrible news. More planes means more lines and better schedules. More bases would probably follow an announcement of more planes, too.

More planes = more junior mans. **** poor utilization won't change, and more aircraft will only make things worse.

Has the upgrade time actually come down this much or was this a new hire who was able to take advantage of senior FO's passing up the upgrade?

They probably do just as well as all the other low longevity captains at other regionals.

Hopefully there will be some communication soon, from either the company or the union, about the first selections coming from the Protected Pilots list. More planes = less flow.

Isn't that true of every airline? Many FO's have children or other family circumstances that make them favor QOL over PIC experience and (slightly) increased pay. Especially since an upgrade isn't required to flow to AA.

No, no it doesn't. Have you seen the new hire numbers? Plenty of new hires coming in to support that growth and still flow. Your above statement is unsubstantiated propaganda, not logic.
