Damn please know what you are talking about before you open your mouth. This is totally incorrect.

Also should add, regarding the jumpseat, within your employer group, it's based on seniority, not sign in time.

And the gate agents don't always seem to know that the jumpseat is given out in a different priority order than the cabin seats so it's up to us to make sure it's done right.

1. Should MIA remain a strong possibility for new hires in the next few months or has the initial placement at the opening bid taken all the slots?

2. If I don't require health insurance (wife has excellent plan) is there an option to take the company's portion as pay? (Long shot but worth a try to cushion a healthy pay cut)

1) That's very difficult to predict. But with the movement here you'll get there sometime on the 145. But yes, all FO MIA positions were filled.

2) I even think you know how laughable that question is.

Time to double up on your meds. Calm down....innocent mistake. I've been told this several times and never bumped in my 8 months here so no personal experience to verify.

Correction noted.

Someone actually thinks he can get priority over an AA pilot on AA metal?? Wow. I don't think he is the one needing to take meds.

Side note you can bump an AA pilot on Envoy metal.

Random question

If you're an Envoy pilot would it be possible to take a month or more off without pay?
If so what would you have to do?
I have parents that are not doing so well. My siblings and I are taking turns with their care.
I also want to spend as much quality time with them as I can while it lasts.
Please don't bash me for asking this.
