This is what we’re up against. Just for reference, I’m about to move up to $72.46 later this month as a 4th-year CA on scale B. PSA would have me at $89.72. Plus their new premium pay rules (125% for all flying above 75 hours and 200% above 87 hours). ALPA is about to get a massive fire mission of nastygrams from this pilot group.

Doubtful. Our pilots have never really showed any unity, just an ability to complain online without actually putting their money where their mouth is. Oh well, let’s all just point our fingers at those who actually provide services to the pilots as it provides us the cathartic release we seek.

ALPA should not have let this gone through, while they are well aware that envoy pilots (also represented by alpa) has also been fighting for a pay raise. Where is the unity in that? Whipsawing has begun again. If PSA is having recruiting problems, that should have been ALPAs bargaining chip to raise the level for all its union members within the WO. That is the union's job. It doesn't start with me. It starts with them, they are the labor stewards.

I said it before and will say it again, the union screwed us with the last LOA. It was all about getting the PP's out and basically gave away the farm to do it.
That was the time to negotiate pay, but the leadership was looking out for its group first, the rest, good luck to ya.

Good luck as this is quite possibly the most impotent union I have ever seen. The union should be recalled and Envoy pilots can easily be backed by APA. Demand nothing but industry leading pay. After all I am sure management gets paid extremely well.
Full pay to the last day. Remove ALPA.

Now is the time ALPA...now or never. I’ve been saying it for years, in today’s unheard of environment we should be shooting beyond anything we thought possible with pay because the second the industry tanks guess who Parker is coming to first for cuts?

But let's be realistic, the company is doing a great job of hiring guys who have never flown a plane until 5 months ago, and haven't touched their helicopters in 12 years, and are also celebrating their 55th birthday this year.

Alpa will not get anything, as with any slight improvements we have received, the company will come to alpa and say sign off on this. Alpa has not negotiated one thing for us, it all has been the company coming to alpa and saying, here we are going to give this to the pilots(sure alpa may have been able to tweak a few things). The company will wait and see if this hurts recruitment, then and only then will envoy see anything.

If the company doesn't want to negotiate they won't, pretty simple. What ALPA screwed up on was the last LOA, this was the chance to get everything better for years to come, however they focused on moving their PP's out. Again, the PP's went through a lot so I am not throwing them under the bus, however we gave up our best opportunity in years for them to flow faster. What the union can and should do is show us what the normal standard is in regards to our operation, that way we all know what we "have" to do and what is "optional" in terms of getting the job done. Is calling for fuel a "mandatory" or "optional" duty of the flight crew? Safety is clearly an issue now, we need some guidance on what areas need to be "slowed" down in the name of safety. Have to be careful with these kinds of things.
