Situation a few months ago after he introduces himself as being with “mainline” and asking which one and finally being called out by the capt

Skywest jumpseater : “But we own our own planes, that makes us mainline”

Capt: “...HOW MUCH DO YOU MAKE AN HOUR?!???”

Skywest jumpseater: “41 an hour”

Capt: “that is regional FO pay, you work for a damn regional and I will not have someone lie and misrepresent themselves in my jumpseat. You’re welcome to a seat inback but not up here”

He didn’t make the flight. I hope he learned a lesson, but I honestly think he had drank so much koolaid that he was convinced he was mainline and wouldn’t listen to reason. I wouldn’t of given him the boot but it wasn’t my jumpseat to give.

If you are wearing an American Airlines lanyard then you have no room to talk.

Isn’t it all three WO’s? Or just envoy? I’ve seen a lot of PSA guys with those lanyards.

FM-1 says that they are mandatory, but people diverge to other options.

The only people that ever refer to "Skywest Mainline" are pilots from other regionals.

Or SKW CRJ pilots being sarcastic towards the ERJ. Back in the day it was EMB pilots being sarcastic towards the CRJ.

Cool story bro.

But nobody really does stuff like that. Especially since your badge says who you work for
