What is Envoy using as an EFB? What do you like and dislike about it?

We use the new fd pro is much better than the old version. As long as we get to keep jepp charts I'm happy.

FD Pro X, not Flight Deck Pro. Some regionals still use the old version so that's an important distinction to make.

Envoy has some of, if not the, best EFB apps of any regional.

Before coming to Envoy, I was using electronic versions of gov charts. Would have loved to still use those. They work and would have been one less thing to learn. Having said that, electronic is the key word. I’d still be flying corporate if flying for Envoy meant using paper charts.

Jepp charts are way better. Once you learn them i doubt you will look back.

This. Nothing really wrong with FD Pro X but FF is so much more intuitive and useful. Hopefully the joint venture continues to yield fruit for us.

Except it’s much easier to switch plates in FD as opposed to FF, even when sending a plate to map in FF and having the another plate in standby
