Why doesn't DFW have this same reputation? Are you implying that in order to do that job you have to be the way CW was? If that is the case, are you also then implying that the DFW CPO doesn't do their job correctly?

Most of the banter here is from keyboard warriors who want to sow dislike and distrust of the company. The comments about this particular individual are way overblown. It's clear he was doing his job. Like some guys who can't seem to folliw the manual and wear the appropriate uniform pieces, they are unhappy with any authority. I'm just pointing out facts.

JD ORD chief pilot was great. He was followed by CW. CW was horrible. Both held the same job and performed the same duties. One cared about the pilots, one went out of his way to flex his power negatively.

Not sure why this is even a thing, the guy was unnecessarily bad to people. He often went out of his way to prove a point and levied spiteful punishments on people for no reason. Just talk to people in contract compliance about the guy.
He didn’t earn this reputation because he was awkward, he earned it for a reason.
