And the cream of the crop widebody CAs who really work it making well north of half a mil a year. Again, not taking anything away from Spirit. Great gig. Awesome QOL for those guys and still great pay. But there is a ton of money at AA to be had. But if you'd like to educate me on our contract further, by all means...
You also have narrow body FO’s with 18 years on property. While what you say may be and likely is possible, what percentage of them are making that? My guess is that number is pretty small and going very senior.

What are your thoughts on the debt AA carries and does the union have any concern over that?

No one is ever gonna say that you can't make a fortune at AA, but what's the point of making all that money if you spend most of your time away from home?

The only 18 year FOs are there by choice.

Oh absolutely they are, I get that. I just wonder if these FO's making north of 200K are doing it because they are senior and can get these trips and credit due to them being that senior.

Can the average 3-5 year FO make that kind of money without being going 18 days a month?

I've heard of guys sitting top of FO wide body lists flying 100 hours a year making close to 300k

I mean he says in the post you quoted the FOs doing it have only been there a few years.

It's really pretty easy to do $200k per year as a junior narrowbody FO, and 16-17 days off would be pretty normal for a 4-6 year FO, at least in the bid status I was in - LAX 320.

I’m just past that range (737FO) and made well north of 200. I spend a lot of time at home. I live in base which is crucial.

Yeah will take me about a decade to flow, but am very excited that is if AA is still in business or if the economy doesn’t tank...

Trust me. AA isn't going anywhere. Not sure what you are worried about.
