Hmmmm...

Your post makes it seem like you believe you can jumpseat on A travel.

You should never take the jumpseat over another pilot if you’re using a a12. Gate agents will allow it but it’s incredibly bad form and a crappy thing to do to someone on actual standby. If you wanna jumpseat d1 or d2.

So if you bid LGA straight out of training and don't get get it, when can you re-bid for it??? I know SkyWest allows you to bid every month, but not sure about Envoy.

on the next bid which it appears to be quarterly,BUT, I SAY IT AGAIN, BUT if your an fo only if you are on the e145. You cant bid fo e75 to fo e45 unless you proffer the displace or are displaced.

If I am trying to get home and it is the last seat in the plane hmmm idk maybe If I have the priority I will take it instead of getting bumped. A12 is not confirmed as it would be a regular deadhead.

If you pick up OT out of a different base, you can call scheduling and ask for a dhd back to base on the last day, it is at discretion of CS to give you it; however; if they do they will give you an A12 pass at which point I am trying to get back home just as the guy next to me.

I'm fairly certain if you purposely bid for LGA, you will not receive the A pass tickets and hotels.

If you get awarded LGA while in training, and are moved there before you finish IOE, you still get it. This is obviously unlikely to happen.

Careful, that D2 that should have been on the jumpseat may report you.

so you’re saying you should cancel your A12 and book D2 or maybe even burn a “vacation” pass just to be on the same level. Ok that makes sense.

If I am dhd for work and I have a confirmed seat in the back that’s a different story, I am not going to volunteer for the jumpseat so the company can sell an extra seat and bump another fellow commuter.

How does that make sense you cant take a jumpseat if you are trying to commute back home just as bad as the guy next to you? You are both on the dame stand by list.
