It’s a voluntary program. It doesn’t hurt anybody. There’s no reason to be militant just for the sake of militancy. It’s not for me, so I won’t volunteer. We have a diverse group. This may work for someone with a side gig, or a family who needs them home. As long as nothing was conceded... meh.

these guys are nice enough to run these offers with the pilot group unlike the last ones who flowed and retired. Please email the ENY MEC and VOTE!

thats accurate from what I heard. it’s 9 more hours than Mesa was offered, plus theirs has min guarantee concessions. Republic has a 50 hour paid leave.

It’s not mandatory, if it works for some guys, great. If not, they’ll be back with another piecemeal increase offer later. From what I’m seeing, this LOA won’t get many takers and they’ll have to up the deal to match the 50 hours other carriers are offering. Furlough is the last thing they want to do.

You’ve got a good MEC, let them do their thing.

I agree with this take. As long as nothing was conceded I dont see the harm. It s not for me either, but neither would the one offered to mainline.

It would be a separate LOA.

The problem is, you need enough volunteers willing to be able to stay at home for a measly 19 hours. If not enough ppl are willing to live off of 19 hours well then this didn't save any money and potentially furloughs are the next step...

Envoy’s trying to figure out the real price of getting us to go home instead of just dumping the whole chum bucket in with 50 hours and seeing the whole pilot group go for it.
