how big of a cut? I doubt it was 31 hours of pay per month, of a cut.

If you don't want to take the LOA, don't take it. But at least they are not hurting the rest of the group by offering it.

the question is, is it a good deal or a low-ball offer?

That's up to the pilot group to decide.
I think the voluntary nature of this with no concessions is a better deal than cutting pay for the whole pilot group and benefiting a few who get the LOA's approved.
But I don't make these decisions, the pilot group does.

It doesn't matter. If it's not for you, don't bid for it. If it is, bid for it. I mean, I'm not out jumping for joy for this LOA... but I don't understand the angst either.

More like a reverse blue-waffle softy.

While I’ve only been here for a year and a half ish, I wasn’t around for the 2013-2014 situation either. So I didn’t really care too much.

However, in April PSA’s MEC did not communicate with Envoy or Piedmont MEC’s and took a pay raise that was first offered to them right off the bat. Which is exactly what AAG expected.

PSA’s MEC is once again not taking phone calls from Envoy’s MEC and neither Piedmont.

So now I’m annoyed. Idk what nerve PSA guys and gals get to pull stunts like that but make no mistake, the industry is watching you on this round.

You act like we had a say in the matter back in April. Secondly there’s like 50 pilots still here from the 2013 contract. Don’t punish the mass for the actions of the few.

A year and a half and you've already drank the koolaid.

PSA hasn’t had any “deal” presented to its pilot group for a leave of absence. We rebid for April and we’re still constantly having our current schedules upended. I have a trip
that was supposed to start on 4/5 that just got removed from my schedule. (Thankfully pay protected).

Unless you were on property back in 2013 (at either company) I think you need to chill out with the PSA conspiracy theories.

I hope our MEC will work together with yours if a united front can benefit both parties. I’ve got many friends over at both ENY and PDT. I’ve been here for 3.5 years and I must have missed the “Hey we want to screw those guys over any chance we get” meeting.
