ALL open time requests (daily and 48 hour window) may be submitted in one of 3 different ways:
Requests may be sent from the RF msgs in DECs, the website on MY.ENVOYAIR.com or the Quick Trade App.
But I guess that's not them pushing it's use.
I honestly don't care if it comes back, but to say throughout indoc, training, IOE, upgrade, etc everyone from the company didn't say "just use QuickTrade" is just false.

You folks have a point but it's not contractual and the union will have uphill battle. That's just my opinion. On a side note, with QT company can reduce staffing an additional 5 percent so financially it is beneficial to the company. Same a flow, financially it's a gold mine with all these pilots coming here to get paid less than at other regionals. I just mention this as a comparison.

Every automated email reply I have in the past from swaps and drops says:

Before QuickTrade, all you got from the training center on DECS was, “You’ll learn it on the line.” There’s not time built into the training schedule to teach DECS. It’s unfortunate and should change, but that’s the way it’s always been.
When I was new I spent a lot of time in the crew room asking questions. When I got a little more senior, I spent time answering questions for the new guys. Same thing applies to learning the contract and it’s loopholes.
