They're trying to make the case it goes against the contract, which is a stretch.

So is it the 19 hrs per month for 5 years? Just for 145 guys. That’s really interesting.

It’s zero pay, and you are responsible for 100% of your healthcare but you can choose to opt out to save money.

Essentially a 5 year furlough... I wonder if they actually consider the viability of these things before that offer them.

A. They have to offer it per the CBA
B. People took it last time

free to offer it. 50 people take it that’s a win. Somebody with a pension or a $pouse might want it

I haven’t been able to find the details of this anywhere. I’ve seen the MEC news last on 20JUL and an announcement on myenvoyair but it only says to check your company email for details. Well I didn’t receive any company email. The last company email I got was to buy a new M&H uniform set for $299. Anyone have details for pilots on this?

Didn’t receive the email, checked spam and all. Nothing on the MEC website, but I did look up the contract 14-07, so thanks for that. Is it offered to all statuses? Or just one particular fleet? Thanks
