I haven’t been able to find the details of this anywhere. I’ve seen the MEC news last on 20JUL and an announcement on myenvoyair but it only says to check your company email for details. Well I didn’t receive any company email. The last company email I got was to buy a new M&H uniform set for $299. Anyone have details for pilots on this?

A couple of weeks ago the company put out an Early Out offer. They said “check you emails for details”, but they only sent emails to people who were eligible (ballpark seniority 190 and up). This offer was outside of the CBA or any union involvement.
A day or two ago they also offered a 5 year Leave of Absence to offset the likely furloughs coming OCT 1. This is the one governed by the LOA.

It kind of sounds like you are combining two different programs.

If number 2 is younger than number 1 he can be offered a better deal because he has more years left?

Since they are retiring as part of the deal (I assume), it wouldn’t be hard to sidestep the CBA.

Teamsters at Gojets litigated and settled and 9E put it in their CBA with their new rates.
Also it didn't get muddy because newhires don't pay dues. Are the upper 190 gonna sign a side deal with no dues/ with dues, or hold Envoy accountable via an Email agreement if need be?

Yea but they willfully ignored that to grow and flow.

Whoever told you it is legal. They just decided to not pick that battle.
Newhire bonuses have been added to other CBA's also since the Gojet settlement, maybe AWAC, or TSA I can't remember. The company knows there is exposure and just lives with it.
One of those double standards, wouldn't be able to cash the first check if they tried it at mainline.
Its textbook unauthorized "self help" by the company.

It’s something to consider, honestly. You have remember that not every single Envoy pilot is 23 years old and has never had another job. As a way to stay on the seniority list, and be able to in go back to your old career (if you can), it’s a good deal. I’d expect to see a large chunk of the captains being downgraded take it.
^^^ This.
Plenty of RTP guys would go back to helo’s on a lot more money and wait it out.

Either way, I am glad that the company is offering this, even though it is in the contract, as even one person taking it is one less furlough. I just wish they opened it up to other fleets and perhaps a shorter period of time as I would have really considered taking it.
